About WOO ART STUDIO:
Woo Art Studio is an experimental art initiative by John HR Woo. He was a Dean of the School of Art and Design at the Seoul National University of Technology, South Korea, and an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University, Canada. His principal areas of interest are Integral Art, Aesthetics of the Unity of Beauty, Truth, Good, and Art Consilience for Human Life. After working at the School of Art and Design in Seoul, he moved to Canada in 2008. Then, he changed his life to find the ultimate object in his inquiry into Art and human life.
Looking back at his work, I see he started in arts & crafts and design. Then, he concentrated on Fine Art in Canada. All his artwork is being developed in his studio in Gananoque, ON. He has been advancing his experimental artwork trials with research works for over three decades, then has expanded his main interest in Integral Art, which transcends and includes all limited forms, interpretations, or perspectives. After groping in the dark for many years, he built his theory on Art (CALIGOMOS ART), an endeavour for applying a new metaxy paradigm into realization for Art.
